If you have been following me for a while you will know that my career has always been important to me. I worked hard in my graduate roles to progress into senior management as a HR Manager.
My days were similar to many peoples:
I got up and got myself ready for the day in work ahead then began the task of getting two children under the age of 6 ready for school and nursery respectively.
I drove to work and began my day the normal way, ambushed on my way through the door to be told of that days sick calls, issues for ME to fix in regards to staff shortages within the store.
I walked to my office, ‘the dungeon’. A small room no bigger than a cupboard with no windows, artificial light and hundreds of files belonging to my 100+ employees.
Most days the thought of entering that office to begin another day would fill me with dread. The worry of what additional deadlines had been added to my ever growing and never ending to-do list. Wondering what other issues and problems I, as a senior manager would have to face, all whilst keeping a smile on my face and absorbing the stress so that my employees didn’t feel the additional pressure on their already tough roles.
But on 13.07.2016, I had a different feeling. Not the usual bleak feeling of worry and dread. On this particular Wednesday I had a feeling of excitement, anxiety and the faint feeling of joy. Knowing that this would be my last day there.
My final day in a role I had been working in for over 10 years.
For a company I had worked tirelessly for, for over 12 years.
My LAST DAY EVER in employment.
On 13.7.16 I sacked my boss 🙂
Property enabled me to do this.
In January 2015 I attended a one day event in Peterborough at Progressive Property.
The information, systems and knowledge i gained in just one day spurred me on to believe that with the right training, guidance and support, that even I could make a living from property.
In the last two and a half years I have worked hard, along with my husband Chris to build a business in property that has given us more time, money and freedom. The three things that we didn’t have enough of and the three things we knew we needed more of.
Have the last two plus years been easy? No!
Have they been worth it?
Undoubtedly!!!!!
Would I recommend others do the same if that is their dream? DEFINITELY!!!!
Not only have we been able to both leave our day jobs as a result of investing wisely in both our education and property, but we have also helped our joint venture partners to build their portfolios, to generate more income and to gain a MUCH higher return on their funds sat in the bank which were beforehand LOSING value.
If you would like to learn how you can get started in property irrespective of your current situation?
If you would like to have more time, money and freedom?
If you want your money to generate higher returns than it is sat in the bank?
Then you can achieve this through gaining knowledge from someone who has walked the path before you.
Someone who has experienced the good and the bad and come out of the other side to experience the great.
If you want to create your own life of design through property or alternatively how to make your money work better for you by generating higher returns on your investment, please get in touch. We would love to help.
